Dina Allami
Co-founder and Director - Psychologist and EMDR-Accredited Therapist

Dina is a leading psychologist with a Master of Professional Psychology, an accredited EMDR therapist, and co-founder of the Healix Centre.

Dina has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, with a particular focus on trauma. She draws on EMDR therapy and a range of mind-body approaches to support healing in a way that is compassionate, evidence-based, and promotes meaningful change.
​
Dina has worked across NGOs and private practice settings, supporting individuals with a variety of challenges, including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex PTSD, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), borderline personality disorder, bipolar disorder, addictions, self-harm, insomnia, low self-esteem, and other common concerns.

Dina values collaboration, creativity, and flexibility, drawing on clinical knowledge to guide her work. She takes the time to understand each person’s story and develops a personalised treatment plan based on their individual needs.

Dina is deeply passionate about working with individuals who have experienced trauma. She believes everyone affected by trauma deserves the highest quality care to help them reconnect with their authentic selves and experience life’s richness to the fullest.
Dana Yalouz

Dana is a leading psychologist, trauma therapist, accredited EMDR Therapist and co-founder of the Healix Centre.

Dana is passionate about providing an empathetic and authentic experience for individuals seeking to develop an understanding of themselves and make meaningful change. She approaches mental health holistically, with a strong focus on building a safe and collaborative therapeutic relationship.

Dana grew up in Sydney, around the eastern beaches, and has supported people across their lifespan in navigating their unique mental health challenges. She has over 6 years of clinical experience working in both private and public settings. Her work has included working within multidisciplinary teams to support young people with complex needs and, clinically with members of the Australian Defence Force including serving members, veterans and their families. Most recently, Dana has worked in private practice, with a strong focus on trauma-focused therapy.
Dana is deeply passionate and committed to supporting individuals with all forms of trauma, including complex trauma and dissociation. She believes in our innate capacity to heal from past experiences and works alongside her clients to empower them to create lasting change and live more fulfilled and authentic lives.
Emilie Lacoba
Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and EMDR Therapist

Emilie is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and experienced EMDR Therapist with over 14 years of experience supporting children, young people, adults, and families across a range of mental health settings.
​
She is passionate about working with individuals who have experienced trauma, particularly those with dissociative symptoms, medical traumas, or those navigating domestic and family violence. Emilie also has extensive experience supporting people with chronic illnesses, disabilities, and neurodivergence, with a particular focus on post-diagnostic support.
​
Emilie has held a number of leadership positions in the public sector, where she supported young people experiencing diverse mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, and suicidality, particularly in the context of bullying.
​
Known for her warm and compassionate approach, Emilie provides culturally safe and neurodiversity affirming care. She is trained in a range of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy - including CBT for Eating Disorders and Psychosis - as well as Emotion-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing. She is also highly skilled in Family Therapy and enjoys working collaboratively with parents and families to enhance the mental health and wellbeing of their young people.
Emilie currently works with young people and adults.

Outside of work, Emilie enjoys painting, swimming in the ocean, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
